Casa Hermosa Mijas

Just had fantastic 5 night stay at Casa Hermosa. I can't emphasise enough how much we have enjoyed our stay . Luther and Sarah offer something quite unique. The villa is stunning and situated on a quite road and is so peaceful but only a short walk to the main road and the bus stops to both Mijas village and Fuengirola. Luther is a absolutely brilliant host and nothing is too much trouble. We were made to feel so welcome from the very first moment we arrived and after a couple of days we felt like we had known Luther for ages. There are a number of different options for breakfast , a well stocked and inexpensive honest bar around a lovely pool area .Are overall experience is a massive 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.Thank you .we will be back

A really lovely place to stay. Owners very welcoming and room very comfortable. Really tasty breakfasts with great views down to the sea. Free car parking. Easy to find. Planned only a single night stay but managed to make it two. Next time will be using the pool.

My family and I had a brilliant week’s stay. Luther and Sarah are fantastic hosts – really welcoming and always happy to help with anything, which made everything easy and relaxed.

The location is great: peaceful and quiet surrounded by beautiful mountains but only a short drive into Mijas with plenty of restaurants and shops to enjoy.

The pool area was a favourite spot for us, with the bar area making it a perfect place to unwind whilst having plenty of beers (which again Luther & Sarah are always checking their guests are catered for). Breakfast is served by the pool and again a huge variety of hot/cold food which is so tasty.

Overall, a lovely place to stay and somewhere we’d be very happy to return to. I would without a doubt recommend this place.

I've wanted to stay at Casa Hermosa for while and had the opportunity to take a well deserved break and getaway.

Can I start by saying our relaxed I felt immediately on arrival. The welcome from both Luther and Sarah was so warm✨️ . I was taken to my room and shown the amenities with everything very well explained.

I slept comfortably in room #1 which was quiet and cosy. Although we had a few electrical gremlins which was only due the extrem weather and completely out of the hands of host's. Because of the manner in which I was made to feel safe and attended too made the slight issue seem like nothing. Thank you both 💓.

I will be returning again for another peaceful rest and looking forward to relaxing by the pool and taking in the views. Oh and breakfast was very very good ❤️

Terrible Experience Followed by Shockingly Unprofessional Response...

We initially left an honest negative review after a very poor stay: the room had visible mold, a strong humidity smell that made it impossible to sleep, and there was no hot water. We arrived at night after a long trip, so leaving was not a realistic option.

After our review, the host contacted us offering a full refund in exchange for removing it, along with a free future stay. We responded politely and were open to resolving the situation.

However, the follow-up response we received was surprisingly harsh and unprofessional. We were blamed for arriving late, our review was called “the nastiest thing,” and we were told they never want to see us again.

We believe this kind of behavior is unacceptable. Guests should not feel pressured to remove honest reviews in exchange for refunds, nor should they be spoken to disrespectfully.

We are sharing this so others are aware, not only of the conditions we experienced, but also of how concerns are handled afterward.
