About the neighbourhood: Distrito Centro
Málaga's historic core, bounded by the Guadalmedina river to the west, the port to the south and the slopes of Mount Gibralfaro to the east. The district contains the Cathedral, the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba fortress, the Picasso Museum and the Pompidou Centre, plus the main shopping street Calle Marqués de Larios. Inside Distrito Centro sit the well-known sub-areas of Centro Histórico, Soho, La Merced and Lagunillas. The area is almost entirely pedestrianised, served by Metro Atarazanas and the Málaga–Centro Alameda rail station.

165 total reviewsNice place if you are lodging in Elviria neighborhood with various restaurants with terraces and a supermarket (carrefour). Italian restaurant, Japanese, Spanish with tapas … all have nice terrasses appropriate for families and kids. There is also a tobacco place and a real estate agency. Taxi stop is available by the entrance of this center.
This is a must visit for restaurants, there's over 10 different places all at reasonable price, plus a supermarket, hardware shop, deli, and lots more, it's our go to places it we don't know what we fancy eating 😉
Nice centre with a mix of eateries, some great some not so good, shops and businesses and an excellent dentist. Also every 2 weeks on a Saturday morning the bio market, get there early for parking and the pick of the produce.
Am a regular visitor.
