It has everything a cinema lover could want included VOSE movies in 3d and in original language types, dozen of restaurants and ok priced for tourist trap by the. Airport. £10 a ticket
Excellent staff, best place to watch to watch films in the original language. Thoroughly recommend
Originally a village to the south-west, now part of Málaga municipality, sitting between the airport and the foothills. Churriana keeps a recognisable village centre with the Iglesia de San Antonio Abad and the Casa-Museo de Gerald Brenan. The area is bordered by the Guadalhorce river and includes the Jardín Botánico de la Concepción on its northern edge. Easily reached from the airport (under 10 minutes) and from central Málaga by the A-7053 road and Cercanías rail at Aljaima.

I went to see Avatar 3 in 3D in English with Spanish subs.
First attempt was in Yelmo in Vialia, a week before but once arrived there the cinema was closed without any notice and I was not the only disappointed/disoriented customer about it.
My 2nd attempt was yesterday in Plaza Mayor as it was the only one projecting it in English in 3D (and only in certain days/hours).
The movie started in Spanish. After 10 minutes it was stopped and after other 10 minutes it was told to us that or we would watch it in Spanish or come another day hoping for the English one, no refund offered whatsoever or any sort of compensation for their mistake... Very nice also considering that people me included already purchased food and beverages for the show. Half the people went away pissed, some remained to watch it in Spanish. I asked if at least we could have Spanish subs, but nope...
The movie restarted half hour late in Spanish, with lights on, with the 3D not working and the images all blurred and unwatchable. We had to make them notice also this because apparently it's difficult to place one attendant in the room to check that everything is going alright. Half hour into the movie things got sorted out and at least it was dark and watchable in 3D.
I didn't go to a cinema since last Avatar and this was really a scandalous experience.
I’ve visited Cine Yelmo now two times. If you are looking for NOT dubbed movies look for ”VOSE” options. Would recommend you to download Cine Yelmo- app, it works suprisingly well and it’s easy to buy tickets by using the app. Haven’t yet met staff person who could speak english, but you can manage there anyways. One odd thing is that you can’t buy gift cards directly from them.
Nothing to complain about quality of movies or anything else ✨

Very helpful staff with ticket purchases and excellent value for money - 6 euros to see latest James Bond. Cinema was very quiet too so lots of space. Not too many ads which is good. Very comfortable seat. Only drawback is having to wear a mask when there is no other patron sitting anywhere near you but I suppose the cinema is just meeting Spanish regulations.
