It's a deplorable place. They have kennels for rent, usually from hunters who rent them to keep their dogs crammed together—up to 12 dogs per kennel. I wouldn't leave my dog there even as punishment. And if you don't want your dog to disappear, don't take him there. The owner has cameras and disables them whenever he wants. I found dog skeletons with gunshot wounds to the head. The Civil Guard is aware of this, but as long as the law says that having food and water is sufficient, they'll stay there. It's a shame that after so many years, this place is still open.
If you love your dog, don't leave him there.
