Coco Bongo Benalmadena

We booked a table for 8 saying we wanted to eat and drink and when we arrived there were no tables available then the tables we were sat at were too small for food and about 1/3 of the cocktails weren’t available due to no electricity I believe but some of the ones we got weren’t great but overall we’re dissatisfied.

We booked 2 hours 30 minutes before hand asking if we could eat and drink we were told yes and that they were sure. We arrived 10 minutes before our booking and were told to wait 10 minutes and were happy too and stepped outside. Staff seemed confused and unorganised. We noticed a table was emptied after 30 minutes after we were sat and was not offered the table. We left quickly due to the poor accommodation.

Popped in here after the beach for a cocktail and stayed for hours! Best customer service, beautiful cocktails lovely food. Really recommend this place x

I had a very good experience here, the cocktails are super good and the atmosphere is really aesthetically pleasing and the staff is very welcoming and friendly

The place definitely deserves some attention, but I had a mixed experience. One star was lost due to cleanliness, an unpleasant smell inside, and the terrace area where we were seated, which seems to belong to a neighboring abandoned business in poor condition. Another star was lost because of the burger — it was advertised as a smash burger, but it didn’t resemble one at all, and the bread was very dry. On the positive side, the location is nice, close to the beach with a good view. It feels like the team is new and still finding its structure, so with better coordination this spot could improve a lot.

Quite simply the worst eating experience had in Spain, in fact the worst in the past few years and that includes Jakarta airport at 3 am. The meals look nothing like their AI generated images on the menu (that should have been a red flag) and when they did come out, 30 minutes between the first and last (party of 6). The images I have supplied are the AI generated and reality. Give this place a wide berth, they don’t care about their customers, a huge tourist trap with disgusting ideas how to run a restaurant.
