About this business
Cruz en el Monte San Antón is a scenic viewpoint located in Málaga, offering stunning panoramic views of the city and the Mediterranean Sea. This popular point of interest is perfect for a peaceful hike or a relaxing picnic. Find directions and contact details below.

About the neighbourhood: Málaga-Este

The Eastern district stretches along the coast from La Malagueta beach to the village-like fishing quarter of El Palo. It contains some of the city's most distinctive areas: La Malagueta (urban beach next to the port), Pedregalejo (palm-lined seafront paseo, traditional espetos), El Palo (working fishing community and casual chiringuitos), and El Limonar / Cerrado de Calderón (residential hillside with sea views). Local buses 11 and 34 connect the entire strip to the city centre. The seafront promenade is continuous and walkable end-to-end.

Cruz en el Monte San Antón is a truly beautiful and peaceful spot in Málaga. Known for its natural park, it’s home to a wide variety of tree species and offers spectacular panoramic views of the ocean—absolutely worth the hike!

It’s the perfect place for nature lovers, hikers, or anyone looking for a quiet escape with stunning scenery. The hike itself is not too difficult, but it’s best to be prepared—especially in the summer, as it can get quite hot. Make sure to bring sunscreen, a hat, and plenty of water to stay protected and hydrated.

Overall, this is an amazing place to explore, relax, and take in the natural beauty of Málaga. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

A short and easy hike with absolutely spectacular views! We really enjoyed it. There are several "mirador" points along the way that are definitely worth a stop.

Nice hike to the top. Quite accessible.
The view from the top is just really good. The hike is definitely worth it!
The only thing is the trail is not marked properly, so sometime you have to guess what's the right way. It's quite straightforward, but could get confusing at some turn

Beautiful view, nice walk. You can rest a bit at the top, it's good if you bring some wine or beer with you. I recommend Gerardo Loranzo's (IG: gera1loga) tour for this.

Great hike! Nice views and quick to accend. You can reach the top easily from the start point within 40 minutes! The path is clear but there’s a lack of signs of direction, just follow the path to the left peak and you should find the cross!
