Curry House Nerja

Absolutely fantastic eating experience!
The service is exceptionally with the host going beyond to accommodate our requests with humour and professionalism. The menu range is extremely good and they are willing to adapt to your requirements.
A great time was had by everyone.

Last evening was our first visit to the Curry House and what a lovely experience it was. Despite the heat we opted to eat inside; the restaurant is smart and comfortable and well ventilated making it cool and airy. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the food delicious. We had poppadoms then a chicken tandoori dish and a specialty chicken tikka curry with pilau rice, garlic nan and a chickpea curry. With drinks the bill was a little over €53. What good value. We definitely recommend the Curry House, Nerja.

Lovely friendly people, serving 7/10 standard food. The restaurant was extremely busy, with large numbers of diners ordering, alongside a constant flow of takeaway orders. This resulted in all tables have long wait times.
The poppadoms were fresh and crispy, the Nan breads fresh and warm, mushroom rice was decent, but the sauces not flavourful, and the lamb tikka sizzler had small thin slices of lamb, with large quantities of peepers and onions.

To be honest there are quite a few Indian restaurants in the Nerja area serving good indian food. What this restaurant offers, as well as very good Nepalise/Indian food is really good service from staff who are friendly with a smile and a good knowledge of the menu. Dishes can be modified to suit the amount of spice you like, the staff check that everything is as you wanted and that makes a very pleasant dining experience. Its a family business and you are made very welcome. We certainly recommend it.

We recently stayed in Nerja January 2025 and spotted this little curry house a couple of hundred yards up the road from the hotel Riu Monica and decided to stop for lunch and were not disappointed. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable and the staff were exceptionally polite and friendly. We ordered a chicken shashlik with Balti sauce, chicken korma accompanied with pilau rice, onion bhajis and a keema and garlic naan. Everything was served piping hot and tasted delicious apart from the Balti sauce which was too thin and sweet. Including a beer, soft drink and 2 glasses of very tasty house red wine the bill came to just under €54.
