Doña Catalina

What can I say? People were amazing there starting from reception to night reception and to house keeping team. We stayed here for two night for work reason, and yeah it is not 5 star hotel but, the service - is amazing! Nice breakfast as well by the way. Room was cleaned after first night and I did not expect that, but everything was tidy and clean and refilled.

If you are thinking to go there - it is nice and decent!

Just come back from an excellent stay at Hotel Dona Catalina. We arrived slightly earlier than check in time but had no problem leaving our bags and were shown a brief way around town by the receptionist (all of whom were each as lovely as the next). Rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels and new bathroom supplies. I can only recommend this hotel! Incredible value, great service and a good location. Intend to return :)

Doña Catalina is a nice place to stay if you are looking for a hotel not far from the beach at a reasonable price.
Located at a walkable distance from the city center offers spacious rooms with all the comforts. Our room had a small private little balcony where you can spend your time after the sunset. Unfortunately from this small balcony the view wasn't great. At the fourth floor there is also a big terrace with several sun beads. From here the view is quite better!!

The people I met at the check in desk were polite and they spoke several languages. I recognized at least 4 (Spanish, English, German, Portuguese).

Breakfast (included during my stay) was quite good. They also offer the possibility to make fresh fried or scrambled eggs that were delicious.

Great location, great people at Reception. The room we had , 401, had a balcony. Air worked great, nice touches in the room. The second room, 211,was a bit larger.

Clean rooms, nice comfortable bed with good quality bedding. However, rooms are best for heavy sleepers due to thin walls. Woke up several times in the night to the noise of people talking the next room sounding like they were in the same room. Lovely staff and good location.
