Hostal Acemar

So far the best hotel I’ve stayed at in San Pedro, and I’ve already been here four times on business trips. The value for money and the 24/7 market downstairs clearly exceeded my experience with other hostels I stayed at in the city — especially considering the price wasn’t much higher.

Amazing experience, it was super worth it for the price. Cleanliness was out of this world, with room service everyday even on weekends. The rooms were comfy with lots of space to keep clothes. The only suggestion that I would do would be to maybe add a desk, it helps a lot.
All the staff were lovely too. It's located right in the centre, near bars, markets, and the beach.
10/10 recommend, and will be going back when I visit San Pedro!

I was planning to stay there for two nights but left after an hour! The room was really dirty with cockroaches and silver fish in the bathroom which is not appropriate even for a hostel. The next problem was that the staff didn’t even try to understand any english which is not the main problem but at least a bit English should be expected.
I do not recommend the hostel.
The only good part was the location!!!

I didn't stay here so why leave a review. I Know the are quite well but only stumbled into the shop to buy milk not realizing it was also a hostel. The young owner was really friendly and helpful. The shop was so clean and had almost anything you might need. If my experience of the shop and the owner reflects on the rest of the business then you can't go wrong. Also it's very central.

Good basic hotel, modern decor very clean and roomy. Nice bathroom and shower. No lift, stairs can be awkward if you have heavy bags. No restaurant or breakfast available, a choice of cafes for breakfast just a few metres away. Has a very well stocked small supermarket, free WiFi. Very close to the central square, plenty of places to eat.
