Ecohotel Malaga

A simple room.

A double bed.

A bathroom with shower and toilet.

Everything clean.

No strange odors and no cigarette smell.

We stayed here out of necessity. We received good assistance despite the language barrier.

The rooms are very noisy, though. We had neighbors who were loud all night long.

The rooms were tiny, and as soon as we walked in, we were hit by a strong smell of tobacco that lingered throughout our stay, even after airing them out. One bed was rock hard, and the other was incredibly soft. The pillows were practically nonexistent. The place was filthy, and my whole body itched when I lay down. We came home from work late at night and went to shower, only to find there was no hot water. I would never stay there again. To top it all off, they were practically begging for positive reviews in exchange for a free bottle of water or coffee, with a sign on the bathroom door advertising it.

There's no ventilation in the room or the bathroom, so after a shower, everything is damp (the floor, the towels, and even the sheets).
The soundproofing is terrible. People arrived at 4:30 a.m. and talked in their room until 6:00 a.m., and I could hear their ENTIRE conversation!

The beds were completely uncomfortable.

The electrical outlets are right next to the mattress, so they're inaccessible because the beds are so close together.

A very bad experience.

A magnificent accommodation that, despite being next to the Málaga Highway, is very quiet. It's small, but has everything you need: its own air conditioning, a large and very comfortable bed, a nightstand, a wardrobe and drawers, and a full bathroom with a bathtub and hot water. Everything is very clean. Plus, there's a convenience store outside, a gas station with free parking, and a bar and restaurant with many options.

On a minor note, the bathroom sanitizing system made a "CLICK" sound every 30 minutes. I thought it would be an inconvenience, but it wasn't really a problem. I wake up very easily, and that "CLICK" didn't wake me up at any point.

Terrible place. The waiters are completely disrespectful and unprofessional. The prices are outrageous for what they offer. The quality is minimal. They don't serve breakfast. Instead of toast, they give you sandwiches made with mass-produced bread and the cheapest mass-produced ham they can find, but they charge €4.50 for it. I wouldn't recommend coming if you don't want a bad experience. The cleaning is minimal or nonexistent.
