I had an amazing dining experience at El Capricho in Mijas! The black paella was absolutely delicious—with perfectly balanced spices and an excellent wine selection that elevated every bite. The friendly and attentive service made the meal even more enjoyable, and the food is so exceptional that it’s well worth to go upstairs. Highly recommended for anyone looking to indulge in truly memorable flavors!

When you arrive the waiters are pleasant and happy to speak to you in either Spanish or English. There was a mix of both Spanish and English eating on the Terrence overlooking the main plaza; always a good sign. We were presented with two set menus to choose from. One menu was €12 euro and the other €20 euro for three courses. We opted for the slightly more expensive one and had Pil Pil and mussels in spicy tomato sauce. For mains we went for a sole and chicken dishes. The whole bill including wine was around €60 euro for two. I would happily recommend.
Great food, perfect service and lovely views.. personally think it’s the best in Mijas Pueblo.. highly recommend steak green pepper or El Capricho and Pancake Flambé
Lovely restaurant with superb views and very good food. Enjoyed and would definitely return.. The tenderloin steak and goats cheese salad were knockout.
The host (owner) was friendly and attentive and gave good advice re food and wine pairing. The food for all of our party of 5 was simply excellent and delicious. We had an excellent evening.
There were a couple of menu items not available and the menu could do with being slightly more comprehensive, other than that there was nothing to fault.
