The Eastern district stretches along the coast from La Malagueta beach to the village-like fishing quarter of El Palo. It contains some of the city's most distinctive areas: La Malagueta (urban beach next to the port), Pedregalejo (palm-lined seafront paseo, traditional espetos), El Palo (working fishing community and casual chiringuitos), and El Limonar / Cerrado de Calderón (residential hillside with sea views). Local buses 11 and 34 connect the entire strip to the city centre. The seafront promenade is continuous and walkable end-to-end.

Excellent place with excellent food and a very nice friendly environment. Very recommendable for borthdays parties and celebrations in general.
Good trainer, well organised
On the advice of fellow doctors, I went last year for knee rehabilitation, and the professionalism and expertise of Quique Orellana and Alberto Cuevas, after a severe injury, saved me from surgery. I am very grateful for that, and I returned this year for a shoulder injury. Currently, I am being treated by Alvaro de Córdoba with neuromodulation using needles. My progress has been spectacular in the three sessions I've had, and I'm very happy to be back. Alvaro also explains each step with great skill, and his help and treatment are outstanding. Congratulations to this fantastic team of physiotherapists.
The center has some very good trainers; in that respect, the center is good. However, the business management and customer service from the center's administration are inconsiderate and chaotic.
Their billing policy is abusive. They charge for packages upfront and then don't have available times to run your classes. They assign trainers and then unilaterally remove them without consulting you. Management hides behind the receptionists to avoid giving any explanations for this poor customer service. Why pay 500 Euros upfront for classes when you don't even know when you'll receive them? Once they've charged you in advance, they require you to notify them 12 hours in advance if you won't be attending a class, under penalty of being charged even if you give a few hours' notice. In other words, you can't have any unexpected absences without paying 50 Euros each time. All these abusive rules have been implemented in recent months in a surprising and increasingly frequent manner.
