About the neighbourhood: Distrito Centro

Málaga's historic core, bounded by the Guadalmedina river to the west, the port to the south and the slopes of Mount Gibralfaro to the east. The district contains the Cathedral, the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba fortress, the Picasso Museum and the Pompidou Centre, plus the main shopping street Calle Marqués de Larios. Inside Distrito Centro sit the well-known sub-areas of Centro Histórico, Soho, La Merced and Lagunillas. The area is almost entirely pedestrianised, served by Metro Atarazanas and the Málaga–Centro Alameda rail station.

The other reviews are correct. Staff are not polite and act as though you have done something wrong.
They won't let you into the humidor so you can only see some of the cigars clearly.
I purchased one close to the door. I asked for it to be cut. They cut it while it was still in the cellophane. The cut was terrible, causing bits in my mouth, a poor draw and the outer wrapper peeled away.

✅ The good thing is that even though it’s a really small shop you can find some decent cigars. They had one of my favorite La Aurora cigars but sadly they didn’t have a whole box to sell.

🚫 The issues are with SOME of the cashiers. The first day a man was there and it was great. Two days later some girls were working and they told me that I can’t enter the Humidor and can look from outside. I managed to get them to let me buy cigars but they were really rude and assuming that I would steal or something.

The employee was giving attitude from the moment we went in. I tried to explain to her the tobacco I wanted and she kept being rude.As I was trying to give her the money for the tobacco
she was talking through video call and being annoyed because I wasn’t fast enough for her, then my friend tried to buy for her self something and she talked to her the way that she was talking to us. Then she refused to sell her tobacco so we left causing a scene (she also said that she is going to call the police. Police passed by and we said here is police let’s call them) Nothinhg more just the worst employee

Found my favourite affordable Cubans here. It’s small but they have a very decent selection. The lady that served me could not have more helpful or friendly. I will be back for sure.

The lady working there is terrible and unfriendly. For buying cigars and spending some money there she was completely unprofessional. And even did not have a bag for the cigars but slammed it on the counter. DONT GO THERE!
