You can buy a Malaga public transport card for 1.90 euros. Every 10 rides cost 5 euros. So a 10-ride ticket is 5 euros, and a 20-ride ticket is 10 euros. You can use these cards for buses and other public transport. Plus, you don't need to buy separate cards for everyone; you can use them consecutively. They're called Bonobus cards. They'll give you one if you want. The card is recyclable; apparently, they refund the 1.90 euro card fee when you return it.

Today I went for the first time to top up my EMT bus card, and to be honest, I arrived just after 9:00 pm (outside of business hours). I explained to the woman working there that it was Saturday and I really needed to top up because I had no more trips left on my card for the weekend. She was very understanding and helpful. Even though it was outside of business hours, she explained in detail the different options I had for topping up my card. I was truly delighted with the woman who was working there (if I remember correctly, her name is Cristina). I wish there were more people like her in their jobs! I highly recommend this tobacco shop. I will definitely be back ❤️
