I wanted to top up my transport card, but when I went to pay with a €50 note, they told me they didn't have change. I then offered to pay by card, which they also declined because the amount wasn't enough. I understand that if they don't accept card payments for small amounts (€5), they should at least have enough change for cash payments, which is quite strange considering this business is located right on the main avenue.

I've always topped up my bus card there. Until today, when I went to top it up with €5 and the clerk rudely told me that her boss had ordered her to charge a minimum of €10 by card. With the EMT office right next door, it wouldn't really matter walking a little further and topping it up there, but the whole situation seemed so surreal.

It's a disgrace that they don't allow card payments and the saleswoman's service was terrible; I certainly won't be back, not even for a bottle of water.

For two consecutive months I've tried to top up my bus card and on both occasions the system was inconsiderate; either they review it or simply clarify that they don't offer that service
