Finca Villa Palma

We had our wedding in the Finca Villa Palma at the end of September and it was like a dream come true from start to finish.
Soraya was amazing, very attentive through emails , menus, organising the day from start to finish she was then there during the whole celebration to help guide the day.
The venue is breathtaking, the views are insane, the ceremony looked beautiful. We had the reception overlooking the view on the lawn.

The food was 5* everyone commented on how the food was the best they had at a wedding. The staff were incredibly attentive and the meat trending menu was fab with tasty canapés to start.

We planned our wedding at the start of January 2025 to take place in June 2026. Initially the process ran smoothly, until our wedding coordinator changed and that’s when the stress began. We only found out at our menu tasting that our initial coordinator had left. Miscommunication from a language barrier and not having a proper handover from the previous coordinator was where the stress began. They were trying to charge us €900 extra on a sound technician, but thankfully I had proof that we were already quoted this. On 1 June I requested the final invoice to pay the venue before we went out to Spain, especially because of international transfer it would have to be done in stages. 3 days before our wedding we received the invoice, to which I went back on a query. The following day I received the final invoice as they added a damage deposit, and was told to do an immediate transfer. I transferred the maximum amount I can do in one day, and notified them that the remainder will be sent the following day. The day before my wedding I received a call to say if they do not receive payment by that day, the wedding would not go ahead. The stress that I was put under, to be told the day before my wedding it might not go ahead, even though it was the venue’s fault for not sending the invoice sooner.
The menu we chose included a sorbet, main and dessert. On the day the sorbet was being provided at the cocktail reception with the other canapés, and when I queried it I was told that I did not pay a fee to get the sorbet brought to dinner. I was never ever notified I had to pay a fee for it to be brought to each persons table, which also doesn’t make sense considering it’s included in the trending menu. It should be kept seperate if that is the case.
The food was lovely, and that’s the only reason I’ve given 1 star. Other than that, I would not recommend, they caused more stress on us than was needed.

A great venue for a wedding. Beautiful view of the Mediterranean from the lush green of the mountain. I will remember this place in colour. The sunset turned the sky pink, purple, blue, orange and red. Then the stars came out!🙂

Great location for your destination wedding in Marbella! I photograph many weddings here each year and it’s just a stunning location.

Alabardero catering are one of the best on the coast! The food is so good and the staff are always very professional and helpful.

We had our wedding up at Finca Villa Palma and I cannot praise the team up at the venue enough. The views from up there were out of this world, the food was sensational and the whole package (drinks, lighting, the service from the team up there) everything was flawless. We were totally blown away by it all, but in particular Mercedes who was the venue manager who was just AMAZING. All of our guests said it was one of the most stunning venues they have ever been to. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend. I want to do it all again!
