Excellent! Great instruction. FCS move to where the wind is and if you give them the chance they will get you up on the board in no time.

I had a really good experience with the Freedom Kite team. I loved how Fren always keeps you up-to-date how the wind will be and where you will go depending on the wind and weather. And all the material is in really good shape and very good to learn with. I can definitely highly recommend the team and will for sure be back for more lessons in the future 🤙

Highly recommend connecting with Fran and his team if you are in the costa del sol and want to take introductory classes or refresher classes. Fran and his team will instruct anywhere between Marbella to Tarifa in English or Spanish. I hadn’t kited in a few years and needed some refresher instruction and after those classes I felt very welcomed into the kiting community and feel that I was definitely connected with the right group. I also had a friend take his first classes with Freedom and he had a great experience. Absolutely go with Freedom Kite School if you want to get into kiting!!🕺🏽🎉😎👍

Truly unprofessional, and what is worse and more concerning In a kite school, uncooperative and unsupportive with people practicing outside their school. Very sad and worrisome this lack of solidarity, that can have serious consequences in this sport.
The so-called Francisco was notoriously unhelpful and bad-mannered.

I trained with Marta, Fran, Elias, and Max (plus Pompa and Luna!) to become a more independent rider in June 2022 - and I loved every second of it! Having started with a few initial lessons the year before, I could now benefit from the great passion and experience of the good people at FreedomKite. In a few sessions, I managed to master my water starts, riding downwind, transitions, riding upwind (and improving, sometimes involuntarily, body drags…).

A huge asset is the team’s mobility, which means that they can (almost) always find the right wind for your skill level - and you get to know different spots: lessons are offered not just in Tarifa (which is beautiful can also be without or with too strong wind) but also at great spots in Algeciras, Estepona, and even Marbella.

For me, lessons were a perfect mix of fun, physicality, and safety. It really is fantastic to ride on the board for the first time or even to just get dragged through the water. But it’s so much more fun when you’re doing all this while feeling safe and in control (especially in crowded spots like Tarifa!), with excellent material around you, and with the support of a great instructor(a).

When I started, I wanted to learn kitesurfing because of how fun it looks and because of the beauty of the scenery around the sport. It really is all that - and even more - and you can experience it with the team at FreedomKite. Many thanks to them - highly recommended!
