We found this spring on the forest track that climbs to the Puerto de la Graja pass. It's just under a kilometer from the Jarapalos shooting range. We found the spring above some stone steps. Further down, next to the forest track, there's another basin, into which the water from the spring seems to flow. Finally, the water from this basin appears to end up in a small pool a few meters below, which is easy to spot. They are in good condition, but there's always room for improvement.
It's a bit neglected, full of logs, and the water is green. That's understandable given the lack of maintenance and its location in the mountains. But the route is very beautiful, perfect for spending a morning.
One of the best routes if you live in Alhaurín or nearby. Abundant nature surrounds you; you can follow the marked trails or explore on your own. I recommend going early, as it gets very crowded later on, like Calle Larios. But if you go early, there are fewer people and you'll be treated to a beautiful sunrise.
