Very poor customer service, inadequate advice, and a strong focus on collecting fees.
At the notary's office where I carried out some procedures, they recommended their services, telling me that "They're a bit peculiar but competent." I definitely must have read between the lines.
We began working with them in July 2024. I've required their services as a self-employed individual and as the administrator of a limited liability company (S.L.). After this entire period, I've reached a firm conclusion based on my experiences and the situations I've encountered: I WOULD NEVER ADVISE ANYONE I LIKED TO WORK WITH THEM.
They charge all clients what they call a "FLAT FEE" per month. To manage the limited liability company I set up, they charged me €205/month for their advisory services. It was a curious turn of events when I was only able to meet with them in person at their offices once during this entire period, forcing communication to be exclusively by email since telephone calls were practically impossible, not to mention the video call option (so common nowadays with thousands of platforms) which never materialized. Anyone can imagine how complicated it was to make any inquiry, especially in my case with my inexperience in laws, procedures, and processes within the field of commercial law. However, looking on the bright side (if there is one), I have a record of all the conversations and inquiries made by email.
In addition to the flat fee, they charged extra for any additional services. In my case, I only needed the corporate tax return and the annual accounts book. Each of these procedures was billed at around €300. If we add to this the infamous "monthly flat fee," they expected me to pay around €3,000 per year into their esteemed account for two procedures that require 2 to 3 hours of work. Clearly disproportionate.
Another point of contention was customer service. I called a few times to inquire about an invoice I'd received, and the response I got was basically to pay close attention to the details next time before calling about it. The flat rate didn't cover these inquiries.
Because of the daily grind, I didn't notice the exorbitant fees I was paying for such a poor service. I was essentially squandering my company's capital on this accounting firm. My colleagues pointed this out to me, comparing the fees they were paying for the same service to a much lower rate. So this month, I decided to put an end to this bad decision by paying for the services up to that point, and their response was priceless. Before continuing, I want to emphasize that we never signed a contract with explicit clauses; instead, we reached a binding verbal agreement. On August 12, 2025, I wanted to end our collaboration by requesting an invoice for the month's work. They replied that, citing Article 1.124, they were demanding payment for the months of August, September, October, November, and December 2025. Once paid, they would provide the documentation to my new advisor. The email included threatening phrases such as, "I could choose between forcing you to fulfill the contract or demanding compensation for damages for the remaining months up to and including December 2025." So, it seems I was supposed to be grateful for this reprieve.
As you can imagine, I made a tremendous effort, despite my immense anger, to calm down and seek a second opinion on how to proceed. This situation forced me to hire a law firm, who confirmed that they have no right to claim anything they're making. I'm considering demanding a refund of their legal fees and even filing a lawsuit if necessary.
Don't make the same mistake I did and seek out reputable professionals to handle your legal matters. I'm giving it one star because otherwise, it won't let me post.
