Happy Times Kids Club Marbella

Unfortunately, my experience in this place has been very disappointing. As a mother, you expect a minimum level of warmth, empathy and professionalism, especially when it comes to children with no previous daycare experience who are going through an adaptation process. And here, simply, they were not like that with my daughter.

My daughter is new, and I made that clear from the beginning; she finds it difficult to stay on her own, so I assumed she would receive a bit more attention and empathy at the start. Even so, on several occasions, and especially on the last day, the treatment was extremely cold, distant and completely indifferent. Not even a simple greeting or minimal interaction towards her. Nothing.

I stayed for a few minutes observing from outside to confirm it once again. What is most concerning is the difference I saw how other children were welcomed warmly, even being picked up and accompanied inside, while my daughter was COMPLETELY IGNORED!. I addressed this with the owner and her response was that it was just my perception, that children need space, and that the other children had been there longer and already knew the staff and the environment and that their concept is drop off. In my opinion, this is not about “giving space” it is about something much more important: showing empathy, care, and knowing how to treat a new child with no experience, who needs to feel seen, safe, and above all, WELCOME. And here, they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to achieve that with my daughter . The only thing they managed was making my daughter refuse each day of being left there alone.

I completely lost trust in the staff, especially in the management. Because if this was the treatment while I was present, I don’t even want to imagine how it would be if I left her there alone. A childcare environment should be warm, and the adaptation does not depend only on the child, but also on the bond the staff are able to create. In our case, that bond NEVER EXISTED.

I would not recommend this place for children who need support or a gradual adaptation process.

My daughter has been attending Happy Kids Club for the past 10 months, and we couldn’t be happier. She absolutely adores the two amazing women working there and is always smiling when we drop her off and pick her up.

This is our third child, so we’ve experienced several preschools over the years, great once but this one stands out by far. What I appreciate most is that this is not just childcare; it’s a loving, nurturing and enriching environment with real structure. The children sing, play, read, count, and follow clear, thoughtful routines every day.

One of the things we truly value is that the children are exposed to both Spanish and English in their daily activities — a wonderful gift that will benefit them for life.

What truly sets this place apart is how they genuinely see and respect each child as an individual. You can feel that their hearts are in it for the right reasons — always acting with care, warmth, and integrity.

While it’s fair for parents to share their firsthand experiences, I find it unfortunate when I read reviews that are based on secondhand stories or assumptions. Happy Times Kids Club deserves recognition for the safe, loving, and meaningful space they provide for our children to grow.

Our son has been going to Happy Times Kids Club Marbella for a while now, and we are extremely happy with the experience. All of the caretakers are fantastic, and we feel completely at ease knowing our child is in such good hands. A special mention goes to Lamia, who has been absolutely wonderful — warm, attentive, and so caring with the kids. The environment is not only safe and secure but also full of fun and learning. We highly recommend Happy Times to any parent looking for a place where their children can feel happy, grow, and truly enjoy their time!

I put this review because they really deserve it. My daughter has been going for 2 years and I couldn't be happier to have them as my daughter's caregivers.

Catalina is an excellent and precious person, with a heart of gold just like Lamia and Pablo.

Our 3year old son has been going to the Kids Club for some days now and he absolutely loves it. He talks about it when we get home and he asks when is he going again.
The staff takes really good care of our boy and we have a great communication with Cata and her staff.
We recommend it 100%!!
