Hotel Boutique Palacio de la Duquesa

This 9 room hotel in old town Ronda, beside the ancient city gate, is absolutely charming. Isabela, the guest concierge, is possibly one of the kindest hotel staff I have met. We have stayed here for 4 days and have only encountered friendly, helpful staff from the cleaners to the lovely terrace restaurant staff. The hotel, grounds and rooms are spotless and charming.
Suitcases can be dropped off then park your car for free a 100 meters away. Lots of hills! Directions from staff are very clear.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

What a beautifull room, location and view. Just outside the city (10 minutes walk) free public parking around the corner. The room was clean, good size, good bed.

The staff where all very friendly.

The pool is nice and the view from the pool and other teraces is outstanding.

We stumbled into the restaurant by chance. It was an amazing experience! The view and location is stunning. The menu consisted exklusivly of intriguing dishes. The food was delicious. The best thing of all was probably the service. Clara is amazing at her job and made us feel at home!! :) we would travel to Ronda again just to stay at this Hotel!

Unlike other hotels, this hotel collects a deposit in the form of a down payment upon reservation but does not return it upon cancellation.

Although they stated that the deposit would be returned after a certain period according to their policy, it appears they do not return the deposit to foreigners who do not speak the language well, as they demand bank information.

Even when I visited during my local trip to request a refund, they claimed they would only process it online; however, nearly a month has passed and they have not issued a refund or provided any response.

What good is it if the service is good and the restaurant is excellent when the hotel is like this? If you are a traveler planning a trip to Ronda, please keep this in mind when booking a hotel.

Please also note that the location is far from the Puente Nuevo (New Bridge), and you always have to walk up a hill to get there.

A lovely hotel near the centre of Ronda. Amazing outdoor area - the pool and terrace have amazing views. Slightly dated room with very little storage, but fine for 1 or 2 nights.
