After a trip to Hotel Las Americas, part of the Torremar Group here’s our first and most useful advice about this property.
The rooms could be nicer decorated; a little better clean too; the bathroom could use a full scrub down between guests.
Taking into consideration that in this Area they (Torremar Group) have many different facilities all within walking distance of their main branch.
At the nearest Torremar branch they have mini bar style fridges in the rooms, here the rooms are bare. Not even a brush to clean the toilet bowl.
The service here’s a shocker.
When checking in at the main Hotel Torremar reception, the receptionist is amazing and very professional. Her supervisor on the other hand a little rude; unprofessional and truly very disappointed to deal with her for the issues we had found in the room. Could also have been nice if the supervisor took into consideration our double bed request and regardless provided us with twin beds that were falling apart from disrepair.
P.s.: By the way don’t force the key for the room too much otherwise it’ll snap in place. (The locks are at least 15-20 years old and hard to open/close.)
Location: TIP TOP location on the coast of Andalucia with Seaview (in our booking it said sea view.)
Many local great amenities around the area, great restaurants and beach walk ways to go on walks on runs. Free to use exercise machines on the beach and many many. Fun activities.
If we could give the “ 2 star hotel “ an actual rating based on all said above we would personally quote them at 1 Star. Due to the need of staff proper training and staff having the due respect for their rest of teams mistakes.
