Hotel Miraya

Good convenient location but no hotel parking so if arriving on a weekend, the abundant free parking in front will be packed full. We parked in the parkade underground by the church 5 min away after dropping bags off then moved into a free spot out front when the crowds went home. Quiet, clean. Modest breakfast included in competitive price.

We chose to come to Torres del Mar as we wanted to experience how the Spanish celebrated their New Year- its not too touristy here! The hotel was fully booked, so we had what was available - a semi- basement room, but this was fine. The location is wonderful - right in front of the beach and surrounded by every facility - cafes, restaurants, cycle hire, shops and supermarkets. A lovely chilled and friendly vibe by day, and quiet at night- we slept very well. Hotel staff were great!

I booked 8 nights in Miraya, currently I am still having 2 nights to go as I am writing this review. It's in a wonderful location, the beach, supermarket, cafe, restaurants, clubs are all in easy reach. If you want to go to Nerja or Malaga, there is very convenient public transportation as well. I find people here are very friendly, Unlike a lot other spainish places I visited before. Here predominantly are Spainish, they don't speak a lot English. But everything are very reasonably priced. The waiters in the cafes or restaurants aren't pushing like the ones in other places either. I am starting falling in love with Torre del mar, The beach is lovely, it has a great prominade to walk and with quite a lot facilities to work out along the beach. I am seriously thinking about moving here after I retire. 😄As for the hotel, the staff are very friendly, room is spotless, it is cleaned daily. The towels and sheets are changed daily as well. There are safe, TV. Air con, fridge are all in work order in the room. Because I am a solo traveller, so I am having a small room, if I have to criticise one thng. This is only thing, the room is a bit small with no balcony or view. But we get what we pay for. There are bigger rooms with sea views. We can't pay for 2 star and expect 5 star facilities. So I am pretty happy staying here. Torre del mar is really a wonderful place, if you want a Spainish holiday, please come here. If you do come and want a budget stay, stay in hotel Miraya, you won't regret it. 😊

The rooms are outstanding—spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. You can tell great care is taken to maintain the highest standards. The beds are super comfortable, and the peaceful atmosphere guarantees a good night’s rest.

One of the highlights is their on-site cafeteria, where you can enjoy a traditional Spanish breakfast. Their freshly toasted bread with tomato and olive oil paired with a perfectly brewed café con leche was the perfect way to start each morning.

The hotel’s location is also ideal, close to everything you’d want to explore in Torre del Mar while still feeling tucked away in a cozy, quiet spot.

If you’re looking for a place with heart, character, and all the comforts of home, this family-run gem is the perfect choice. Highly recommend it—I can’t wait to return!

Rooms are basic but functional, nothing special. Breakfast is extremely basic. Location great view lovely. Cannot get food in the afternoon. No drinks in the rooms fridge. Hotel looks tired
