Hotel Santa Rosa

We needed a room for one night on 22 December. We received a very warm welcome from Nieves at reception.
The room was comfy, overlooking the sea, very pleasant in the morning!
Despite a quiet day just before Christmas, everything was available at breakfast. Full continental plus cooked food.
We were very happy with this hotel. It had a bar, a lovely dining room, polite service, all good 🤩

This hotel really surprised me. It’s right on the beach, with an amazing view from the breakfast tables. Staff were friendly and helpful, both at the front desk and in room service.

The room was clean and pleasant, though a bit small (especially the one with a balcony). Bathroom was fine and up to Mediterranean standards.

Breakfast was good, typical for Europe. We came about an hour before closing on a Sunday, so a few items were low, but the staff quickly sorted it when asked.

The hotel has plenty of space in the private parking lot right across the street.

The only downside: a couple of dark hairs left in the sink, something that should’ve been caught in the final room check.
Everything else looked tidy; I even saw other rooms being cleaned thoroughly.

Would’ve been a solid 5-star stay if not for that small detail.

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Santa Rosa. The location is convenient, close to the beach and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The room was clean and functional, with a comfortable bed and sufficient space.

Breakfast was good, with a solid Selection.

The only negative point was that there was only a thin blanket on the bed, and the room felt a bit cold at night. An extra duvet or thicker cover would have made the stay more comfortable.

Overall, a good hotel with a practical location and reasonable value for money

Have just returned from my second visit to this beautiful 3 star hotel which offers 10 star service. All of the staff, in all departments, go above and beyond to help in any way they can. A beautiful setting directly on the beach and with a lovely swimming pool with 3 hydro jets built into the steps which was ideal for my shoulder injury. It is in a quiet area called El Morche which has several bars and restaurants, shops etc. A 45 min leisurely walk along the promenade brings you into the centre of Torrox Costa or you can get the bus outside for €1. Excellent wifi and large smart tv with Netflix, Prime etc. I stayed on a b&b basis and there was practically a banquet served each morning and constantly replenished. I’m already planning my next trip

A very calm and sweet hotel, with a lovely beach location. Staff are efficient and friendly. Cool reception and bar area.
For me, the highlight was the food offering. Imaginative
cooking beautifully presented. The dining room was spacious and comfortable
It has a nice terrace balcony with wide views over the Mediterranean. Well worth a stay.
