They have the register set up to not show you the prices they are ringing up. They will try to take advantage of foreigners. Do not just hand your credit card over. The lady acted like she needed to check a price of an item and entered a code, then wanted me to hand my card to her. I asked her for the total and she told me 40 Euro when it should have been 20. I told her No, thats not right. She adjusted, but seemed to be on purpose so warning to be careful if you shop here.

The cashier was fine, but the other guys was very rude. He was suddenly mad at me when I wanted to change my ice cream to a different one.
Avoid at all costs, especially tourists. Went in to buy some water due to warm weather. Gave him a €20, he gave me only €3 saying I gave him €5. Started shouting at me to leave or else he would call the police. Based on reviews, he has done similar things several times
This is a great place to run in and get some quick basics: wine, beer, milk, etc. Wine prices are much better than at a “Wine Store”. Owners are very friendly and helpful, particularly if you’re foreign and/or jet lagged or unfamiliar with Malaga
