La Cantina in Antequera is an absolute gem. The food is very, very good — full of flavor, well presented, and clearly made with care and quality ingredients. Every dish we tried was excellent especially the porra de antequera, pork sirloin, mix fried fix and lamb.

Also a special mention must go to the waiters: their kindness and great service truly made the experience even better. Attentive, friendly, and always with a smile, they made us feel very welcome from start to finish.

Highly recommended if you’re in Antequera and looking for fantastic food combined with outstanding service. We will definitely be back!

Wow. Be prepared the plates are big. My husband had the scallops and I had the chicken kabob with vegetables. Both were delicious. I was surprised at how flavorful the rub on the chicken was! So good! Also it had just a little spice and the chicken was moist and juicy. Can't rave enough. Service was perfect

We have lunch, we were 5 to eat and food was excellent with the quantity deserved. Atun asado, pollo, ensalade de mango... 5 dishes, 2 desserts, 6 beers, tonic, for 21 euros per person. I post the bill. Nice service for everuday local people... And we enjoy!
