La Despensa de Tapas

The restaurant boasts a beautiful and well-maintained decor, which raises high expectations upon entering. However, the service leaves much to be desired: slow, disorganized, with a lack of coordination among the staff and numerous errors in the orders. The experience becomes chaotic and unpleasant. As for the food, it's very, very, very basic; the quality is truly low, with no standout flavor or presentation. In short, a place that looks appealing but disappoints in every other aspect.

You see a place from the outside and you think you're going to eat well, but nothing could be further from the truth. The menu is very basic; honestly, it was hard to find anything interesting to order. The food is expensive for how poorly prepared it is and for the flavor and quality it offers. The service was also quite slow. Unfortunately, we won't be back; they have a lot of room for improvement.

This is my second time here. The first time I wasn't disappointed, as the drinks were reasonably priced, it wasn't crowded, and the service was quick.
This time, when I went to get something to eat, the prices were frankly expensive for what they offered. The quality wasn't bad, but the portions left a lot to be desired. Then they charged me for bread, saying it was included in the service, which isn't listed on the menu as mandatory or anything. If I had asked for it myself, it would have been fine. Besides, the bread was very mediocre for the €2 they charged for four meager slices.

In total, it came to €16 for two beers, one small sandwich, and one potato salad (half a portion, or rather, a tapa). The waiters were friendly, but they were a bit slow. It's not worth trying, and if you do go, it should be for a couple of beers and then eat at the bar next door.

I went yesterday for the first time and I think the last. We were four people. We ordered five toasts, so to speak, because it was half a muffin, and four beers, one of which was Russian. They charged us €65. The service was terrible. It was a small place, with so many waiters, and the service was so bad. Besides ordering things they didn't have, they didn't communicate with us, and they didn't bring things we asked for. Honestly, I won't go back.

We often go to La Despensa Familiar. This time we went to La Despensa de Tapas. The tapas were delicious. Quantity and quality, great value for money. It's a very cozy and inviting restaurant with friendly and helpful staff.
Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back.
