La Fonda Heritage Hotel, Relais & Châteaux

We stayed at the La Fonda Heritage Hotel in the old center. A fantastic find for our stay, centrally located in the old center and just a 15-minute walk to the marina and beach. Originally a 16th-century private residence, and a 1960s hotel for Aristocrats, then recently reopened in 2023 after extensive preservation and renovation from abandoned ruins. The renovation is well done, very modern conveniences in a historic setting. The staff was amazing and attentive.

This is a very unique and pleasant boutique Hotel in old town of Marbella. The staff is wonderful and the hotel is extremely clean and well managed. Location, breakfast, rooms are excellent. special thank to our receptionist/concierge, Miss Anna, who was extremely helpful.
I would highly recommend this place and I will be coming back.

The hotel Fonda is one of the best hotels I have ever seen. Beautiful rooms, great events on a regular basis, and incredible food. But the very soul of this amazing location are Raimunda and Carmine. Raimunda is a beautiful, passionate power woman that always gives everything to satisfy each and every guest with her amazing personality. Her laughter and joy is contagoius and makes the stays of her guests so very special. Please keep going as you do!! Carmine is the best manager I know and of course the entire staff, like Giulia for instance, is amazing as well! Always a hugh pleasure to visit you ❤️ xx Irene

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, everything was outstanding. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. On the day we were leaving, they even prepared a little snack box for our 2-year-old—without us even asking—which was such a thoughtful touch. Breakfast in the charming patio was a real highlight, and the breakfast team were just as wonderful—so kind and attentive. Our room was beautiful, spacious, spotless, and had everything we could possibly need. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended, and the location in the heart of the historic centre is simply perfect
