Very disappointing experience.

I ordered two portions of grilled sardines. The menu price was €2 per portion, and I asked for takeaway. I was told that takeaway would cost €3.50, which I was perfectly happy to pay.

However, when I received the bill, it came to €8. I assumed there must be a reasonable explanation and paid without questioning it.

The real shock came when I got home and opened the package. Inside there were only 9 sardines in total — not even enough for what appeared to be a single full portion, let alone two.

The food itself was tasty, and that's what makes this even more disappointing. I would have happily returned there. Unfortunately, feeling overcharged and receiving such a small quantity has completely changed my impression.

Please be careful and double-check what you are being charged for.

Appalling service, the restaurant was very quiet when we arrived but we still waited over an hour for our food and the waiters really weren’t interested when we tried to find out why it was taking so long. One waiter even thought it was funny to swear at us when we didn’t want to order more food whilst waiting for the dishes we had already ordered.

Came as a party of 7, was able to get seated very quickly. The service was rapid, the quality of the food was very good (particularly the grilled salmon and the paella) and it was extremely affordable. Good atmosphere in the background to top it off, would highly recommend!

Well where do i start....
€2 a pint, fresh food, beautiful setting on the beach front. This would be enough normally, but my word my guy Jaafar... worth coming to belamadena alone just to meet this guy❤️😎. Great host, decent banter and looks like a vin diesel off wish 🫶 absolute legend!!
