Originally a village to the south-west, now part of Málaga municipality, sitting between the airport and the foothills. Churriana keeps a recognisable village centre with the Iglesia de San Antonio Abad and the Casa-Museo de Gerald Brenan. The area is bordered by the Guadalhorce river and includes the Jardín Botánico de la Concepción on its northern edge. Easily reached from the airport (under 10 minutes) and from central Málaga by the A-7053 road and Cercanías rail at Aljaima.

Great variety of tapas, tasty and creative. Cheerful staff, engaging and funny, they definitely convicted us to come in, the food made us come back!
OMG...this place is all about fresh Tapas and delicious pastries and coffee. The service is so friendly and they make feel right at home
Lizarran in Plaza Mayor is nothing like the one in Fuengirola. The selection of food in the tapas counter is poor and the menu choices are not great. The staff seemed nice enough. I wouldn't eat there again, I'll stick to Fuengirola/Mijas in future.
