I celebrated my birthday at Patio de Beatas and it turned into one of the most memorable dining and wine experiences of my life.

From the moment I arrived, the entire team went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and special. The service was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about food and wine. You could feel that they truly wanted me to have an exceptional evening.

The food was outstanding, beautifully presented and perfectly executed. Every dish paired wonderfully with the wines. Speaking of wine, the selection is simply remarkable. During the evening I had the opportunity to taste several extraordinary wines, including Vega Sicilia, Flor de Pingus, aged Rioja, old-vine Mencía, and a stunning mature Chardonnay. Each glass was served with care and expertise, making the experience feel like a private masterclass in Spanish wine.

As a sommelier and wine enthusiast, I can confidently say that Patio de Beatas offers one of the most impressive wine programs I have encountered in Spain. The quality, diversity, and presentation of the wines are truly world-class.

If you love wine, this place is not optional. It is a destination.

Thank you to the entire team for making my birthday unforgettable. I recommend Patio de Beatas without any hesitation and will absolutely return on my next visit to Málaga.

The restaurant was amazing and the food was fantastic, but my waiter, Jose Sojo, really made the experience. I had great fun throughout the evening. He recommended the cod with a coconut sauce served with deep-fried plantain, which was absolutely mind-blowing. He also recommended the anchovies, which were spot on, and paired them with a fantastic wine.

The food was great, but the service made the experience. I'll definitely be back. Thanks, Jose!

A place so nice we went twice.

Every bottle is offered by the glass - even the high end ones.

If you're only a couple of people, I recommend going early when they open and before the big groups arrive. The staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable, and will use the extra time they have early on to give you the best experience.

Danielo was a champion and gave us some wonderful recommendations based on what we had in mind. We got to try some exceptional wines and vintages, and felt very cared for. He insisted we both smelled and tasted the different suggestions before committing to one, so every glass we had ended up being one we really enjoyed.

I've always wanted to try the Vega Sicilia Unico, and he dug out a remarkable vintage for me to try - but in the end I honestly liked one of his suggestions better.

The food was great as well. We sampled most of their starters as we went along, and each one was perfect.

Without a doubt our favorite gem in Malaga and the first place we will go back to, should we return to the city.

Beautiful restaurant and food. Marco's service was excellent. His recommendations were perfect. The Iberica pork risotto was delicious as was the steak. The sommelier was equally charming. Marco recommended a chocolate dessert which was to die for.
