I've ordered a custom cup from María a year ago and it's still in perfect condition. María is very talented!

Last weekend I took the pottery wheel course and it was a wonderful experience. María is an expert ceramicist, and as a teacher she is attentive, patient, and explains things clearly, making sure that each student fully understands every step of the process. The best part is that, even if you have no prior experience, you finish the course with the satisfaction of having created a couple of pieces on your own. It's a great option for anyone who wants to get started with pottery throwing—highly recommended!

EN: Attended an 8-hour wheel-throwing class over the weekend that was for all levels and I would totally recommend it even if you have never touched a pottery wheel before!

Maria explained and demonstrated to the group the steps that we need to take before letting us try it out ourselves while she go around helping and explaining what to do.

She also made sure that even the most beginner-level participants were able to make at least two pieces for the next day's class, while providing useful tips and tricks to help those who already had some experience on the wheel to improve..

All-in-all, it's something I highly recommend attending (and I am already planning the possibility of going to another in the future... =D)!

EN: I attended an 8-hour wheel course over the weekend, designed for all levels, and I thoroughly recommend it, even if you've never worked on a pottery wheel!

Maria explained and demonstrated to us step by step what we needed to do before letting us try it ourselves. Meanwhile, he approached each of us individually to help and guide us every step of the way.

He made sure that even the most novice members of the group could perform at least two pieces for the next day's class, and at the same time, he offered very useful tips and tricks for those with some experience, helping them to improve.

In short, it's a highly recommended experience (and I'm already thinking about attending another course in the future... =D)!

María is a talented ceramicist: her pieces combine local inspiration, incorporating marine and natural motifs, with contemporary creativity and sensitivity. She accepts custom orders but also sells her own pieces, which can be purchased at her studio, in some craft shops, or through her website.

Discovering the work of María Monasterio was a milestone for IPSA RATIO. An expert in artistic ceramics, her unique and handcrafted work is highly recommended for both interior design and haute cuisine.
