First time here, nice staff food reasonable and good seating in a bench arrangement in the restaurant.

Originally a village to the south-west, now part of Málaga municipality, sitting between the airport and the foothills. Churriana keeps a recognisable village centre with the Iglesia de San Antonio Abad and the Casa-Museo de Gerald Brenan. The area is bordered by the Guadalhorce river and includes the Jardín Botánico de la Concepción on its northern edge. Easily reached from the airport (under 10 minutes) and from central Málaga by the A-7053 road and Cercanías rail at Aljaima.

A shame, long wait to take our order then one starter, after a long wait then one main, for one person, long wait then another, to then the rest, by then the first mains were cold. After complaining we got the next starter. I will never return, overpriced and mediocre service. And to top it off, the bill was wrong, overcharged.
We had no luck with this place.
As soon as we arrived, I found a bug that looked like a tiny cockroach on my tablecloth. The children's food was okay, although we found a hair in one of the dishes. They call something "chicken donuts" that's just like a nugget or chicken tender; the accompanying fries were fine. The Russian salad with prawns in garlic and olive oil and octopus was good, although there weren't enough prawns or octopus. The croquettes were tasty, but we ordered the beef cheek and pork loin croquettes, and neither one added any flavor to the dishes. The "bateitas" (small sandwiches) were the worst part of the day—4 euros for a burnt little "pringá" (a type of stew) sandwich that was practically empty. It was truly embarrassing. The entrecote and cachopo (a breaded and fried meat dish) were fine, nothing special; we didn't particularly enjoy either of them. Perhaps we were just unlucky, but we weren't impressed.
We were in the area and thought we'd try something new, since the restaurants around Malaga are usually very charming and delicious.
Unfortunately, we were totally disappointed. The food was terrible, and we asked if we could change the fries on our main course from the daily special, but they refused. As if we had a premonition, the fries were some of the worst we've ever eaten. They smelled of old oil and were very soggy and mushy.
We had ordered the salad without onions because we can't tolerate raw onions, but unfortunately, there were a few pieces of raw onion hidden in it, which made one of us feel quite ill afterward.
The service was friendly, but it got slower and slower the longer we sat there. I can confirm the other reviews I've seen on Google about the service.
The worst part is that we both felt unwell afterward and had stomach aches.
After midnight, we completely lost our appetite due to vomiting and diarrhea. We should mention that we only ate there that day, around 1:30 pm. Unfortunately, never again!
It's a real shame; we would have liked to write a different review. Perhaps we were just unlucky, and we hope that these side effects don't happen to other guests!
The lamb was simply perfect! Everything else was too! Super friendly service, fair prices, absolutely perfect all around! I'll definitely be back.
