Our experience with Mobalpa, specifically with Macarena, was amazing. We were surprised to learn about the large variety of possibilities that they offer for kitchens and the rest of the house.

We were looking for our perfect kitchen, a large kitchen project with many specifications and needs. We met one day with Macarena and she took notes of everything that it was important for us. We met her a few days later to see the design that she had created and it blew up our minds. It was just perfect 🤩 😍 to the point we didn’t need any modifications. She took every single request, note, need… and made a perfect render. A render that not only we saw on the screen but also had the chance to experience it via their virtual reality headset when you are inside your kitchen and can walk it and open any cabinets or drawers. Just stunning!

Macarena was patience, professional, kind and she is obviously extremely talented. She never came across as a pushy sales person and respected our opinion all the time.

Their quality is high and their price is competitive for what they offer. 20% down to reserve the kitchen, 20% when they order it, and the rest a week before installation.

They offer a large variety of materials, colors, textures and possibilities. They also offer a good discount if you buy the appliances with them.

We didn’t deal with the manager a lot, Jorge, but the times we saw him, he was always nice to our kids who were waiting for us, offering them waters, drinks and too much candy! 😊

Terrible way of working and even worse customer service.

I hope to spare you from the nightmare we experienced with this company and strongly recommend buying your kitchen elsewhere.

Our story is a long one, but I’ll try to summarize:

To start: In May 2024, we signed for our kitchen, which was supposed to be installed before summer. However, it wasn’t finalized until January 2025. We had to live without a kitchen for months, as everything was prepared for the agreed-upon installation date (June). Yet, the first actual installation day didn’t happen until October.
Numerous mistakes were made regarding the measurements and the kitchen’s base. Because of this, our contractor had to do a lot of extra work, and instead of getting our dream kitchen, we had to settle for unnecessary modifications—such as oversized plinths and frameworks around the cabinets—instead of the floor-to-ceiling design we had planned.
We spent countless hours waiting: waiting for appointments, waiting for people to take new measurements over and over again, waiting for kitchen deliveries—only to find out that less than 50% of the kitchen had arrived. We stayed home for construction, where a single worker was expected to install an entire kitchen. We waited for scheduled appointments where no one showed up. On top of that, we wasted time writing emails and making phone calls. This kitchen consumed so much of our time and energy.
Naturally, we assumed some form of compensation would be offered, considering the kitchen we purchased was not a small one. An apology or gesture of goodwill would have been appropriate. Unfortunately, we had to request this multiple times. In the end, their so-called "compensation" felt more like an insult than an apology.
Our plan was to rent out our house starting in the high season (summer 2024), but due to all the mistakes, we had to postpone, causing us to miss out on much-needed income after a costly renovation.

I could go into great detail about all the errors Mobalpa made, but honestly, this review would become far too long. The only thing I can say is that I deeply regret buying our kitchen here—especially after experiencing their appalling customer service. Mistakes can happen, but the way they "fix" them is simply unacceptable.

Special thanks to Pilar (and her colleagues), who immediately understood what we were looking for. She designed a top kitchen and presented it to us in VR design, which was an experience! The changes we were asking for were very quickly adapted. Pilar managed to create our dream kitchen and stay within the defined budget!
