Málaga's historic core, bounded by the Guadalmedina river to the west, the port to the south and the slopes of Mount Gibralfaro to the east. The district contains the Cathedral, the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba fortress, the Picasso Museum and the Pompidou Centre, plus the main shopping street Calle Marqués de Larios. Inside Distrito Centro sit the well-known sub-areas of Centro Histórico, Soho, La Merced and Lagunillas. The area is almost entirely pedestrianised, served by Metro Atarazanas and the Málaga–Centro Alameda rail station.

The shop assistants are more concerned with deciding what outfit to wear on the weekend than with serving customers.
Terrible service. We used to go often, but the service has been awful every time. I arrived at 2:15 pm with my husband because he wanted to buy me some nice clothes for my birthday. The biggest disappointment was when the saleswoman told me, "Ma'am, there are only 3 minutes left before closing," and I had just gone in to try on the clothes, and there was still some time. Out of anger, we didn't buy anything and left. If they don't want to work, they should change the staff because the service is terrible.
I bought a defective item of clothing, accepting the defect. Halfway through the trip, when I went to have the defect fixed (it was a zipper), I noticed it was dirty and the stain wouldn't come out in the wash. I went back to the store to ask for a refund, as I accepted the defect but didn't want to keep a dirty garment. They told me they could only give me a store credit, and being rather unfriendly and inflexible, they told me no, that company policy stated they didn't give refunds. They forced me to get a store credit for the full amount of the garment to spend in the store. I told them that didn't seem right (I had a €10 store credit beforehand) and that I should get the €10 I had paid for back in cash. They were completely uncooperative and, in other words, called me stupid for not being able to read the receipt, which clearly stated the policy. I told her that if she was calling me stupid to my face, and to make matters worse, the other saleswoman also said it seemed like we couldn't read. Anyway, I'm not going back after eight years of shopping there; this store is just too much for me. A little kindness and understanding for a customer who shops there so often would have been enough.
The shop is a 10, the staff a 3. They have no desire to sell or work. They're unhelpful; when you ask them something, they answer as if they're doing you a favor. I tried to be friendly the whole time and only received awkward silences. A real disappointment, because the clothes are wonderful in terms of quality and price; they just need someone to enhance that with their professionalism.
