Amazing place for butterfly lovers
Easily access via bus or taxi.
Wasn't overly busy for me on a Monday.
Gift shop, cafe & toilets on site as well as interactive butterflies on a big screen. note it does get very warm inside where the butterflies are.
Reasonable price for entry.

Visited Mariposa in Benalmádena recently and really enjoyed it. It’s a small place, but there are lots of butterflies, and they fly very close, so you can easily watch them and take photos.

It’s a very nice experience for both kids and adults. There’s also a big viewpoint nearby, so it’s a good place for a walk before or after.

Highly recommend!

A magical place full of wonderful experiences with butterflies🦋🐛 You can sit and feel their presence on you♥️ Is there wonderful interactive room where you can create your own butterfly🦋 You will find as well a small souvenir shop there. Friendly service and a cafe right next door. Despite the exorbitant price, I think it's worth coming here.

The place is worth a visit, but there are a few things to consider before buying tickets.
Tickets cost €14.50 for adults, which I think is really expensive for what you get...
It's important to note that as soon as you enter the butterfly house, you feel like you're walking into a wall. It's extremely humid inside so that the animals feel comfortable. You should definitely expect to sweat.
There are lots of butterflies and the house is beautifully decorated. However, I find it quite small and you can walk around the entire circuit in 10-15 minutes (including photo stops).
All in all, it's a cool thing to do when the weather is bad, there are lots of beautiful animals, but I find it very, very expensive.
