Took the full insurance plan for 2 weeks, was 300€ and about 100€-ish for the car. (400€ total, plus 110€ for me, cause i'm younger than 25...)
Seems expensive but i'd say ~30€ a day is acceptable. They get like 10'000€ a year that way but also have all the service costs so it's fair play...?

Had ordered a Seat Leon, instead Got a Skoda Kamiq and had a blast. Was able to also go offroad and through difficult terrain without worries about having to pay for tiny scratches.

(Deliberate damage would still be your fault apparently and logically)

Just don't do some weird 3rd party insurance thing (they don't fully cover, you're responsible for proof yourself that u didn't cause the dmg / scratches as others here described). It's fine to rent through them but don't pay the 60-100€ insurance and hope for full coverage. I cancelled mine and just bought nizacars plan instead to not have paid double.

The 100-150€ more are well worth a worry free holiday imo. You're still cheaper or at equal prices as europcar and other big rentals with similar car for the money. (I'm guessing here but did some rough comparisons online)

(I only found out the 3rd party people don't fully cover everything because initially i didn't have a credit card lul.)

With full plan i just gave them my keys and went to the airport.

Bye malaga, i miss the sun already.

Avoid NizaCar in Malaga – Extremely Disappointing Experience

We rented a car through Localrent.com, which assigned us to NizaCar Malaga. Unfortunately, the entire experience was frustrating from start to finish.

To begin with, Localrent did not provide clear instructions on how to find the NizaCar rental office. Upon arrival at Malaga Airport, we only received NizaCar contact details, but it was practically impossible to reach anyone. We repeatedly tried calling the provided numbers without success.

After searching online ourselves, we found additional contact information on NizaCar’s website and continued trying to arrange the airport shuttle pickup. Despite spending 1 hour and 30 minutes attempting to contact them, nobody answered, nobody called back, and no shuttle arrived.

After standing outside in over 30°C heat with our luggage for a long time, we eventually had no choice but to walk to the NizaCar office ourselves, dragging our suitcases along roads, side streets, and around the highway area.

Unfortunately, the problems did not end there.

Instead of receiving a properly prepared rental vehicle, we were given a Skoda Scala that was clearly not cleaned. The interior was in an unacceptable condition:

* The seats were covered with sand, apparently left behind by previous renters.
* Dust had accumulated all over the dashboard and looked as if it had not been cleaned for months.
* The infotainment/radio screen was covered in fingerprints and greasy marks.
* The overall condition of the vehicle was simply unpleasant and unhygienic.

When renting a car, customers expect a basic level of cleanliness and professionalism. What we received fell far below acceptable standards.

Based on our experience, I cannot recommend NizaCar Malaga. The lack of communication, failure of the shuttle service, and poor vehicle preparation turned what should have been a simple rental into an unnecessary and stressful ordeal.

My advice: avoid this company and choose a more reliable rental provider.

I had an excellent experience with Nizacars. The booking process was smooth, the vehicle was clean and well-maintained, and everything was handled professionally from start to finish. A special thank you to Lola, who was incredibly helpful, friendly, and efficient throughout the process. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was easy and stress-free. I highly recommend Nizacars and especially appreciate Lola’s outstanding customer service. Thank you for a great rental experience!

Good rental experience in general. Communication was good but at the time of making the reservation in January but a little bit tough the closer our trip came, probably due to the high season.

We waited for the shuttle bus just a couple of minutes and picking up the car was fluent. We got a car that was promised - seven seat Skoda Kodiak. Actually a brand new car.

It was a pleasure to have a good car because we drove 1500 kilometers in Spain and Portugal. Cross-border fee was reasonable, just 75 euros for the ten days.

Returning the car went without problems and the next day I received the final invoice to my email. So all good. I can recommend Nizacars👍

Most of bad reviews seems like people do not know how to rent a car 😅 if you take full insurance and look that deposit would be minimum as posible which is 150€ , when you will take 2-3 minutes to take a car . Girl which gave us a car was really nice and friendly , not saying to buy any extra insurance because we already had all needed insurance 😎 so people if you are blaming car rental for some “extra” insurance or big deposits please firstly learn to read what you are taking 😅

I am picking car from car rentals not a first time and I know that you must take full insurance because you do not know what could happen , as well with deposit you should always look how big deposit you should leave on particular car.

To sum up , everything smooth, car was really nice and clean 🤩
