About the neighbourhood: Palma-Palmilla
Residential district north of the centre, on the left bank of the Guadalmedina. The area is mainly social-housing blocks built between the 1960s and 1980s, organised around Plaza Palma de Mallorca. I had quick service here. But I was told I had to pay 30 euros for a prepaid sim card with a 28 day plan. I bought two for 60 euros Afterwards, I found out that the SIM plan cost only 20 euros, and a different plan would have cost 10 euros. I feel cheated and taken advantage of. Since I did not have internet prior to purchase, I could not check. Shame on the girl who helped me for not telling me the options and for charging me 10 euros for the SIM card when it should be free.
