The kids had fun in the belly of the dinosaur and on the various slides. If you are up for a stroll, the nearby river is the perfect place. Or bring your own food and barbeque it. Can get quite busy towards the late afternoon.

955 total reviewsIt’s a nice place to take a walk, ride your bike /skateboard, or enjoy playing in the open areas. They also have basketball courts and a playground for children. The whole place is fairly clean and quiet (we went in the early evening ). It is well lit and has several trash bins around to keep the place clean. I came back the next day to take a few pics - and I realized it was even bigger than I thought.
The best playground in the area that has a lot of things going for it:
+ many different attractions for ages 3-7
+ beautiful park environment
+ sufficient shade from trees, benches to sit on
+ public restrooms
+ soft and sandy surfaces
+ grill stations
+ central location with parking right next to it
Only downsides I can come up with:
- noise from the highway next to it
- no kiosk to buy snacks or drinks from, make sure to bring your own
Mini golf in this park is a great way to spend a couple of hours. The ladies that run the golf are lovely and very helpful will definitely return next year.
When on a day trip we walked along here, it is spotlessly clean and a lovely walk with terrapins and fish in the water
