I felt ripped off and disappointed. This was the first time I'd taken my car to this garage, which is closer than my usual one. I went there after passing the MOT (Spanish vehicle inspection) to have three things repaired (which were clearly specified in the MOT report I gave them). After the first visit, the tire was fine, they forgot the windshield wipers and I had to go back, and the oxygen sensor was showing an electronic error… well, they changed the glow plugs and told me the problem was fixed. I went back to the MOT station and they told me again that the oxygen sensor error was still there. On the third visit, they gave me different explanations: 1. Our machine reads the codes differently than the MOT machine 😳… 2. We got another error and (without consulting me) we fixed it, but not the oxygen sensor one because… we didn't read the MOT report you gave us! 😳😳😳 3. The MOT machine is so old and gives really bad error codes 😳😳 … 4. The car is throwing up electronic error codes, which is terrible, it happens a lot with Citroëns and Peugeots (by the way, mine is a Toyota) 😳😳😂😂) … 5. Car electronics are just so complicated…. 😳😳😳 In total, almost €150 for some glow plugs that I suppose were needed, but I don't know for sure.
