Restaurante Bar La Bouganvilla

La Bogavilla Málaga is a place I always come back to whenever I visit Málaga (and I visit quite often). It is, without a doubt, my favourite place to eat right in the heart of the old town. The food is amazing and so is the service.

I have recommended this restaurant to all my friends who have asked me for a nice place to eat in the city, and I always return with great pleasure. The paella is absolutely delicious and I particularly appreciate the fact that they serve portions for one person, which is quite rare, as many restaurants only offer paella for two. The sangria is excellent as well!

This place checked all the boxes for a relaxed night out. They have delicious tapas, great drinks, and good vibes. We stopped in late, and it was exactly what we were hoping for: lively but still comfortable, with plenty of options to snack, sip, and linger.

The tapas were fresh and flavorful, and we couldn’t resist staying for dessert (definitely worth it). Everything paired perfectly with the drinks, making it easy to lose track of time in the best way.

If you’re looking for a go-to spot for tapas, drinks, and a sweet ending to the night, this is it.

By chance we had lunch at this restaurant and it was delicious! Very affordable, tasty and extremely kind staff (we even got a free a dessert). Would totally recommend, especially to try their tagliatelle with shrimps. You also get a fresh bread with olive oil while you wait for your main dish.

We ate here several times as the owner is so friendly and genuine.
They catered for our grandson which was appreciated.
The food is typically Spanish and local.
We ate inside and outside and will definitely return next visit to Malaga.
This diner is ideal for a couple or family.

Today we visited this restaurant and had a wonderful experience! The owner, Bonita, was extremely friendly and even spoke some Dutch with us, which made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious, and after our meal, he generously offered us Limoncello and cake on the house. Such a warm and friendly gesture! If you are in the center of Málaga, this restaurant is a must-visit. Definitely go and enjoy it!
