Ronda Hotel Polo

Hotel Polo is a wonderfully charming hotel. It has everything you need in this day & age …WIFI, TV, elevator, extra blankets, hair dryer, green bathroom amenities, LARGE towels etc. Perfect location in Ronda for an overnight stay. Getting there and back for a day trip only would’ve forced us to rush ~ so we decided to overnight. Easy walking from the hotel to see all the pertinent sights. We got a great price for an overnight stay in the Double Premium King Size Bed suite including breakfast (prepaid through their site). Bed was super comfortable ~ room was large, clean and charming. Great shower pressure. Communication from the proprietor ~ from the start ~ was wonderful through WhatsApp & email with directions, maps and important information. Good security.
We were able to store our baggage and look around while our room was prepared ~ and we were able to check in an hour early. Upon checkout ~ we were able to store our luggage and “tourist” till our bus departure.
Breakfast choices are very simple but satisfying. Highly recommend!!!

This review is regarding the hotels poor attitude. Sadly we could not stay on the date booked (6th January 2026) due to an unexpected hospital appointment so we asked that the booking be moved to the 12th January 2026. The hotel had availability and the price was the same but they said it was policy not to change bookings no matter what the issue. I put it to the hotel we were not cancing, we just required a little help and understanding but no matter how I asked they would not accommodate our simple request. This is extremely poor service and no matter what their policy is, they have the ability to help if they so wanted as they are only a small hotel. It could be a lovely hotel but we will never use them again as they put their own policies over customer satisfaction which is not a good sign. I don't often leave poor reviews but the hotels handling of the situation warranted reviewing.

Quite old-looking hotel, but has everything what is needed for short stay in Ronda. The bed was comfortable, the place was quiet. The hotel offers discounted prices for 2 underground parkings nearby, which is a great option to leave the car and discover the town by feet, especially that the hotel is in great central location!
The lady working at the reception is super nice and extra helpful! She deserves more than 5 stars just for her!
If we come back to Ronda again I will definitelly stay here again.

Clean and comfortable hotel in the center of Ronda. Good location and kind staff who is very helpful. Only negatives would be slow wifi, and a shower that, as a result of no fan and only 1/2 a doors, soaks the entire bathroom when used

Double room with two single beds together rather than a double bed (this can actually be a good thing in high summer but this can also be a deal breaker for some so I thought it was worth noting).
