This trail begins right at the Hiking Parking area and leads to the Camino de la Fuente Trail, ending at the Cerro Alaminos viewpoint. It also offers detours to other areas such as Barranco Blanco. It's an easy hiking route, located in a vast pine forest that has a special charm in winter. It's also highly recommended for cycling due to the large area of flat terrain.

We've found one of the most enjoyable routes in the municipality of Coín. The beginning of the route is challenging, as the ascent is steep over a short distance. From the highest point, we have 360-degree views of all the surrounding mountain ranges: Alpujata, Mijas, and Sierra de las Nieves. We can also see towns like Almogía, Alhaurín el Grande, Málaga city, and Pizarra, and in the distance, Alozaina and Yunquera. The descent is rocky through pine trees, so caution is advised to avoid twisting ankles.
