Málaga's historic core, bounded by the Guadalmedina river to the west, the port to the south and the slopes of Mount Gibralfaro to the east. The district contains the Cathedral, the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba fortress, the Picasso Museum and the Pompidou Centre, plus the main shopping street Calle Marqués de Larios. Inside Distrito Centro sit the well-known sub-areas of Centro Histórico, Soho, La Merced and Lagunillas. The area is almost entirely pedestrianised, served by Metro Atarazanas and the Málaga–Centro Alameda rail station.

Whenever I travel to Málaga, I always visit this bar because until now we have always enjoyed our time there and the service has been excellent. However, this morning , we were served by a new waiter and the experience was different: the service felt cold and distant, and they brought the bill while we were still having our drinks, which was quite uncomfortable. It’s a shame, because this used to be a place we really liked, and we hoped to continue enjoying the same level of attention as before. I hope this was just an off day and that things will return to the great experience we know.
This has became my preferred pub in Malaga and I’ve been coming here for the last 4 years, the bar is cosy and confortable with a selection of music that appeals to me, the staff is pretty friendly and always eager to receive you with a smile, the service is normally fast and my Guinness is served as is supposed to be.
Nice pub for drinking and watching sports (we watched the final F1 grand prix). Sadly small portions of chicken wings for the price (6 SMALL wings for 9 euro)
Situated opposite and just up from the cathedral makes it easy to find, has an feature filled interior making for a warm welcoming space. I didn't have food but saw a couple of nice looking pizza's.
Footy fans will like the huge TVs, I watched a premier league game.
Beer price : Guinness pint €6.50, local lager €5.00.
You'll find cheaper if you look around but I wanted the footy.
About 20 mins straight walk from the cruise bus drop off near Plaza de la Marina.
Would I recommend... yes, but not everyone's cup of tea.
