Sprinter is a sports retail chain offering athletic footwear, apparel, and equipment across multiple categories including running, casual wear, football, fitness, and outdoor gear. The store stocks over 1,200 brands and provides online shopping with free shipping on orders over €45.
Residential district north of the centre, on the left bank of the Guadalmedina. The area is mainly social-housing blocks built between the 1960s and 1980s, organised around Plaza Palma de Mallorca. Bounded by Cruz de Humilladero to the south and Bailén-Miraflores to the east. Several bus lines link it to the city centre in 10-15 minutes, and the MA-20 ring road provides road access to the rest of the metropolitan area.
Good
I usually buy quite a bit from this store, but my experience a few days ago was disappointing. I bought a pair of sneakers and tried them on my left foot, not my right, as I have an amputation of my little toe. When I got home, I tried them on and walked around to test them properly, and it turned out they were digging into the side where I have the injury. I took them with me, and now I'm going to try on some more expensive shoes and pay the difference, of course. Anyway, when I went to the checkout, they told me they were used and wouldn't accept them, even though it hadn't been 24 hours. They said they had pilling on the back, which shocked me. I've had them for years and wear them almost every day, and they don't have any pilling. They took a picture and said they would send them to be checked to see if it was a defect in the sneakers, and they decided to accept them. It was a bad experience, and I definitely won't be buying there again.
They have a good selection of sneakers and clothing at reasonable prices. What's incomprehensible is that when I asked for a shoe size exchange, the tallest employee took 10 minutes, and then his colleague had to tell me they were out of stock. The same thing happened with returns; I waited in line for ages (and there was only one other customer ahead of me), and they didn't speed things up. They should improve all these aspects, because when I went, there were hardly any people there, and they made me feel like I wasn't even in the store.
Today I went to the Sprinter in Rosaleda, and a girl helped me wonderfully. She took some sizes to the fitting room for me and found what I was looking for. I loved her dedication to the customer. By the way, she's a redhead...
A shop where you'll find a wide variety of athletic shoes for men and women. They also have sportswear. The service was very good. Great.
