no respect for clients. I was waiting to pay for goods, until store employees would finish talking and counting money…
I found everything I was looking for. The guy restocking notebooks was a sweetheart and helped us a lot with everything we couldn't find.

TEDi is a discount retailer offering a wide variety of products including party supplies, home décor, crafts, stationery, toys, cosmetics, and accessories. The chain operates multiple store locations across Spain.
A long, mostly residential district running south-west of the centre, parallel to the coast as far as the airport boundary. It includes the neighborhoods of Huelin (with its own beach), La Princesa, Sacaba, San Andrés and the major shopping zone around the Vialia / María Zambrano train station. Vialia itself houses dozens of restaurants and the high-speed AVE service to Madrid. The area is well served by Metro Málaga (lines 1 and 2) and bus, and runs the length of the Paseo Marítimo Antonio Banderas.
no respect for clients. I was waiting to pay for goods, until store employees would finish talking and counting money…
Today, around 1:00-2:00 PM, I went to the TEDi store, as I usually do when I'm in the shopping area. I bought two items, one of them with a red promotional tag, something I didn't even know before getting to the checkout.
From the very first moment, the cashier looked at me in a very uncomfortable way, as if I had done something wrong. When I scanned the item with the red tag, he decided to go check the price in the aisle, even though a colleague seemed to be explaining to him that it was correct. Up to that point, I tried to think that perhaps it was simply standard procedure.
But then, when I paid with a €20 bill, he also checked it with a marker to verify if it was genuine. Between the insistent stares, the price check, and the check of the bill, I felt like I was being treated as if I were under suspicion.
I regularly go to this store, and the employees are usually very friendly, but this experience with this cashier was truly unpleasant. I left feeling very uncomfortable and with little desire to return. Sometimes just one bad experience is enough to make a customer not want to return.
I found everything I was looking for. The guy restocking notebooks was a sweetheart and helped us a lot with everything we couldn't find. Thanks to him, we left with everything and super happy. I asked him his name so I could include it in the review. Manu is really great; he's a super friendly employee and helped us a ton. Those little touches of attention and the fact that the store has everything are what make you want to come back. Thank you ❤️
A very nice store, but it's a real shame to see it like this.
The aisles are very narrow, and on top of that, there's even more stuff on the floor, making it difficult to move around. If there were an evacuation, we'd all be trapped inside.
You always see boxes being unpacked right in the aisles, but in this last quarter, it's gotten much worse.
It's hard to see the display products with so many boxes blocking the way.
I don't know if people are just being mean or if the products arrive already damaged—many are broken, open, missing pieces, or otherwise damaged.
For example, beautiful designer candles are piled on top of each other without any protection, ruining the design, and the glass candles are all stacked in tall towers, making them dangerous to topple over if you pick them up wrong, etc.
It's a very, very disorganized place.
Yesterday we arrived an hour before closing time and half the store was dark. They wouldn't let us into that area; in fact, one of the girls rudely kicked us out, and we heard her complaining. I think if a store is open, it should be open, not prevent you from entering more than half of it. I didn't want to buy any paintings or birthday decorations.
