Toni Pons Málaga

While visiting Málaga I wanted a pair of handmade shoes. Spain is known for their high quality footwear so I snag a pair on every trip.

The store is bright, the staff (Martin) was helpful, they have a great selection for men, women, and kids, and they accept Amex.

I purchased a lovely neutral pair of espadrille wedges (the color in the stock photo is a bit more camel than taupe, but they are a bit more neutral in person) from the premium selection. I am in love! They are so comfortable, are perfect for the cobble stone streets, and even served me well in Lisbon.

If are visiting and you want a REAL souvenir from Spain, get yourself an amazing pair of shoes.

My feet are not the easiest to find comfortable shoes but I wanted to give Spanish shoes a small try. I visited Malaga last January and stumbled upon this shoe shop, walking out with two pairs! The prices were very good and the styles were modern but just my degree of conservative. The shop assistants were also lovely: polite and vague but very intuitive to my needs while giving me space. Once home, the espadrilles were comfortable; I didn't reach for them often and need to wear them this year. The gold lame wedge heels? It was My Shoe for the spring and summer! So comfortable and always looking good!

That said, I was looking forward to my visit last month, and left room in my bag for exactly two pairs. From their website, I had my eye on a few styles. So imagine my shock when I realized the shop was closed for renovations! Disappointed, yes. But I also didn't make it to the Mercado. Maybe I need to make a day trip from London? :)

DELIVERED TO WRONG ADDRESS AND REFUSE TO GIVE REFUND!!
While visiting Spain I ordered a pair of shoes to be delivered to my daughter’s home, where we were staying. Following the tracking option, it showed several attempted deliveries. Completely false as we were home at the times of the attempts. Expecting that they would be returned to the company and I wouldn’t get my shoes, but would get a refund (per their policy) is how it was left when it was time to leave for home. Two months past and I hadn’t seen a refund on my credit card statement so I contacted company by email at which point they replied that they had been delivered. TO THE WRONG ADDRESS!!! They take no responsibility for mailing them to the wrong address, just simply said they were delivered. So now I’m out the shoes AND the money. Terrible customer service and even worse from Jordi(manager) who didn’t even return my emails. I want my money back!
