Unitaxi Málaga

I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding support we received from the central TAXI office today. While rushing to the airport, my son accidentally left his phone in a the back of the cab. We weren’t completely sure of the Taxi number, but an airport Taxi guy ( a tad grumpy but he did help) gave us a main number to call. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was not only extremely helpful, but also spoke perfect English—he was truly our lifesaver today, thanks to his efforts, the cab driver returned the phone just in time before our flight took off. A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible! I also used 4 Taxis whilst in malaga and didnt have a problem with any of them

Terrible experience with taxi 823 who theatened to follow us home if we didn’t pay for him coming to us after we called the central saying we needed a taxi with a baby car seat and he showed up without any baby car seat. Made us feel unsafe and forced us to pay €7 to leave us alone. Won’t be using unitaxi anymore.

I called the center and asked for one large taxi.
One large taxi was booked for us. It was also confirmed that a large taxi is available and will be sent at the determined time. We were surprised that two normal taxis were sent to us and we had to pay for both of them 54 euros, although the counter of every one was showing almost 21 euros.

However, the drivers were friendly.

I got charged the higher “interurbano” fee in stead of the correct local fee, I stayed within the city limits and no other taxi had ever used that tariff for exactly the same ride. Driver lied to me when I asked what this was for and collected a 40% higher fee. No response on my inquiry to the taxi company by web form after several weeks. Not even an e-mail that my message was received.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - our bag got stolen by the driver. The company admitted that the bag was with the driver and then they changed their minds, saying the driver doesn’t have it. We filed a police report against them and the driver but they still don’t want to cooperate. Do not use at any costs
