This place is absolutely fabulous, start to finish. Julio is a master host. Very elegant bites and wine list, for true wine lovers. Anyone rating less than 5 stars needs to seriously reconsider their vibe. 😊

Málaga's historic core, bounded by the Guadalmedina river to the west, the port to the south and the slopes of Mount Gibralfaro to the east. The district contains the Cathedral, the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba fortress, the Picasso Museum and the Pompidou Centre, plus the main shopping street Calle Marqués de Larios. Inside Distrito Centro sit the well-known sub-areas of Centro Histórico, Soho, La Merced and Lagunillas. The area is almost entirely pedestrianised, served by Metro Atarazanas and the Málaga–Centro Alameda rail station.

While the host was pretty knowledgeable, his taste and "focus" didn't quite jibe with mine. Bluntly put, I' m not interested in sampling a 3rd grade Cotes du Rhone /Chateauneuf du Pape, or drink a thin Italian Valpollicella while in Spain. Also, prices were a bit steep given the quality. However, lots of passion and energy, great service. No rating for the food since we only had wine
Open 1hour later without apologize.
We after wait 25minutes fot another class of wine, also without the sorry…
Food is fine and wine selection also.
If you dont know the sommelier, you are without service
Shit experience, sorry!!!
What a phenomenal meal. Esteban was so welcoming, offering a wine pairing with each dish from the very interesting modern tapas menu. There is a real focus on natural wines and he was happy to open different bottles for me to try. Each dish and each wine was spot on. Very, very highly recommended.
For being in Spain, this restaurant deserves a 5 out of 5. In a broader European context, where the culinary standard is often higher, I would rate it 4 out of 5. Still, if you want to eat well in Málaga, it’s hard to find a better place. Excellent and fun selection of wines, knowledgeable staff, and very elegant wine glasses.
