The most famous street in Malaga. Pedestrianized for years and a place you can't miss if you come to Malaga.
Málaga's historic core, bounded by the Guadalmedina river to the west, the port to the south and the slopes of Mount Gibralfaro to the east. The district contains the Cathedral, the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba fortress, the Picasso Museum and the Pompidou Centre, plus the main shopping street Calle Marqués de Larios. Inside Distrito Centro sit the well-known sub-areas of Centro Histórico, Soho, La Merced and Lagunillas. The area is almost entirely pedestrianised, served by Metro Atarazanas and the Málaga–Centro Alameda rail station.

The N2 bus has terrible service; it takes forever to arrive 😡 while the N1 bus comes one after the other 😡 and often leaves empty 🤔 The organizers of this route should really look into this, because it's very uncomfortable to wait up to 45 minutes when many people are leaving work, and then it's packed. I would appreciate it if you would take note and improve this service.
